The Truckee Meadows Reclamation Facility (TMWRF) and City of Reno jointly operate this site. The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) and City of Sparks also participate in this monitoring effort.
This site nomenclature is historic. The Truckee Meadows Storm Water Permit Coordinating Committee (aka TM Watershed Committee) adopted this site for regular monitoring around 2010. It has been renamed to be Chalk Creek at Chalk Bluff per the 2012 Sampling & Analysis Plan for the Storm Water Quality management Program.
